Izzi Kessner (they/he) is a multidisciplinary circus artist originally from Los Angeles and a graduate of the Quebec Circus School. He is an aerialist and acrobat, specializing in Aerial Rope, Group Acrobatics, and Chinese Pole.

Izzi is interested in circus as a medium for collaborative practice, dramaturgical meaning-making, and collective humanity.

Through their artistic creations, Izzi has worked with companies such as the 7 Fingers/Virgin Voyages and La Croustade, and partnered with major brands such as Nike.

Izzi is passionate about circus as a performer, researcher, and educator. They worked with HUPR (a circus research institution connected to the National Circus School in Montreal) on two projects: on chest binding in circus and on gender biases in circus, and connected to the show N.Ormes by Agathe and Adrien. In February 2024, Izzi traveled to Bogotá to present their research at the Circus and Its Others conference.
